Salon Policies And Procedures For Our Guests
We will do our very best not to cancel or re-arrange your appointments and to run to time. We really appreciate you doing the same.
OUR CANCELLATION POLICY
We understand that sometimes you may have to cancel an appointment. Please give us at least 48 hours’ notice, otherwise a cancellation fee of 50% of the cost of your service may be charged.
We send out txt and email reminders 48 hours before your appointment as we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you’ve had booked for weeks. It is easy peasy to let us know if you can’t make it.
If you need to cancel, please give us a call or use our online booking system. Please don’t text, email or put a message on social media.
Our opening hours will be reviewed every 4 weeks and are subject to change as we navigate working times and rota’s.
We are limited to the number of people we can have in the salon so we ask that you please call txt or email to make your appointment and come to your appointment alone with no children please.
You may be asked for a none refundable booking fee to secure your appointment.
Appointment reminders will be sent out via txt or email.
Please arrive on time for your appointment as there will be no waiting area due to space restrictions, if you are early please could we ask that you wait in your car and we will call you to advise when it is safe to enter the salon, if you are on foot you will be asked to wait outside until we call you in.
We understand that life gets in the way or traffic for that matter, if you are running late we would ask that you let us know as soon as possible, we will do our absolute best to accommodate you but please be aware we may only be able to perform a portion of your service.
Allergy alert testing
All colour guests must have an allergy alert test at least 48hrs before any colour service. We will not be able to colour your hair if you haven’t had one from us (If we do not follow our manufacturers guidelines we are not covered by our insurance) no exceptions will be made, thank you for your understanding.
On entering the salon, you will be asked to wash your hands or use the hand sanitiser provided, you will find hand sanitiser on the wall as you walk in, masks will be provided for you to wear for your own protection and the protection of our team, you will see us wearing masks and or visors while we work.
Card payments are preferable where possible but cash will also be accepted, we also accept PayPal via email or paypal.me
If you are ill or live with anyone who is ill or is displaying any corona virus symptoms (please see NHS website for guidance) we would ask that you stay at home and rebook your appointment no earlier than 14 days and when your symptoms have gone away, there will not be a charge for cancelled appointments due to you being unwell.
Our prices and service menu will be reviewed every April and will take into account the minimum wage increase, new ways of working, higher operating costs and PPE (Personal protective equipment) costs. There will be a £3 safety charge added to every appointment (we hope to remove this once restrictions are relaxed)
All prices are for the individual service performed (you may need several services to complete your desired look and this may not be possible in one sitting.
We only offer pre-booked services no walk-ins (see appointments for ways to book)
Above all we want quirkydo to be a safe, relaxing environment where you can feel pampered and forget about whats going on for a little while, we would ask that you be mindful of other people as everyone has their own thoughts, opinions and worries going on.
